What a gorgeous Leucy...congrats on that stunner!!!!
Not to mention Fires are such a sleeper morph right now...I think folks are really going to be excited when they see what all you can do with them. Fires are excellent for adding the "bling gene" to different combos, they really clean things up & add a lot of "pop," especially to color mutations. The fact that they make an awesome white, black-eyed snake on top of it all is just cake! They're so underrated.
Long live the Fire ball! _________________ If you're going through hell, keep on going! |

Thanks Kara. I agree, I don't think many people see the importance of the Fire not to mention a beauty in its own right. I think what it can do to combinations is VERY exciting, the Fire Pastel shows that alone. I think it is more viewed how the Pastel was, a pretty snake and then we saw what it did to such things like the Spider thanks to your work and then it became VERY special. I hope these guys go the same way. Nice thing is there are still loads to start with these.

I have some Fires which are 100% hets for these guys that I am breeding at the moment with normals, so more Fires. I have attached a picture of one of mine. I am also waiting until late in the season to see if this guy makes the size to breed, he's eating like mad at the moment but I don't want to push him. If not then I will use a proven Fire male so either way I'm looking at producing some BELs this season along with some other stuff. Glad you all like him and thanks for looking.

I am surprised that you felt it necessary to have to buy from the States when you could have got some from the original bloodline here in the UK.

I am surprised that you felt it necessary to publicly question what and where I spend my hard earned money but as you have done I will tell you. I looked into buying from the UK first, the price was ridiculous in comparison and more important the quality of the animals was VERY poor. I was offered the choice of what I believed 3 paradox males, ALL had HUGE yellow patches everywhere and ALL had black scales over their bodies, something the US breeders had NEVER had in their breeding. This guy has the tiniest yellow patch that you can hardly see and NO dark scales. Sorry to have to write this publicly but I was asked publicly.
