Hey folks, just posting a couple of pics of the Dwarf Retics. There is a Super Dwarf (TRUE) Fire, a Dwarf Purple Albino and a Golden Child. I have heard it said a million times that the camera can never capture the true beauty, especially with Retics but these guys are a thousand times nicer in the flesh. The Fire is crossed with a 'true' Super Dwarf, ie no locality. The Albino has BOTH parents as Dwarfs so they should stay small, the parents are 10ft and 7ft. The Golden Child is Dwarf-ish. Hope you enjoy the pics and please, all comments both positive and negative welcome. Thank you for taking the time to look.

loving that albino, i read somewhere that the adult size of the offspring is usually Down to the size of the female. so if the mum was 7ft and the dad 10ft then the offspring would max out closer to 7ft then 10ft. Do you know if there is any truth behind this theory. |

Thanks for the complements. By far the most impressive in the flesh is the Fire, she absolutely GLOWS. The Albino will only get better with age and I have another which is nicer but he was too quick to snap at the moment. It is the mum that is 10ft. Parents will always have an influence on the genetics of the size but when crossing a normal to a dwarf they can lean either way, or just stay in between. That is why its good both parents of the Albinos are dwarfs. Some believe that feeding will determine size, others just believe it shows speed of growth and not end size. I was not sure about getting the Golden Child but did for what she can do to a project. Now I have seen her she is AMAZING. She is SO iridescent and really is beautiful. The thing is no one knows what a Super will be like, some think a Leucy. We have not yet seen an albino, this could produce a PURPLE snake. I would like to also see it put to a FIRE, or even a Super Dwarf Purple Albino Golden Child Fire I will put the Fire to the Albino next year, an Albino Fire could be very nice as well. They were from Mike. They came over to see me, Bob and Mike. We had dinner and a few beers, god life is tough sometimes Really looking forward to working with these Retics and thank you for looking and giving feedback.
