well i had 2 eggs and both have hatched i think,but no babys they were even eaten as soon as they were born or the eggs were eaten ?
thought they would be ok with the parents but looks like they are not ?

Mourning geckos can be cannibalistic if the adults aren't kept well fed. the adults will also eat the egg shell within a hour or two of the hatchlings emerging. even if well fed they may still eat the young if the young pose an easier meal than the crickets. for two years i let the eggs hatch in with the adults and lost very few (3 out of about 25) to cannibalism and whenever i did i take full responsibility for not feeding the adults the night before the hatching process. the simple answer is just to move the eggs out of the enclosure and let them hatch elsewhere in a secure environment.
