Interesting thread.
I've only ever preserved one thing a hatchling striped corn in the early 90's and i still have it to this day.I used buffered formaldehyde solution diluted with distilled water and i got it from the local chemist who was really helpful at the time.How the world has changed
I also kept a snake in the freezer,a hatchling albino san diego gopher that had two heads that were joined around the eye area on one side.I euthanised that snake as i believed it had no chance of a decent existance.
