|
|
Hi,
This is my first phelsuma tank. Obviously it still needs proper uv and full spectrum lighting. It also needs planting and it going to have a lot of plants in it. The original plan was to get a pair of Phelsuma M Grandis for it but I have decided, as its going in my bedroom, that i would prefer to have a group of geckos in there. I have decided on Klemmeri because i have wanted them for ages and was wonderin how many you would keep in the tank and to what sex ratio?
Heres the tank, its 30" x 15" x 42" (LxDxH)
Thanks, Jake |

Well,
I used the typical way of doing it. Expanding foam all over the back to hold plant pots, wood branches and bamboo. The i had the laborious task of siliconing the whole inside and covering it in coco Fiber.
To plant it, i will be using;
climbers to cover the walls
Bromeliads for collecting water
Snake plants for egg laying
Orchids for looking good and possibly for the pollen?
That's about it.
Thanks for the compliments!

Bottom of what?
If you mean the bottom of the vivarium I would use LECA balls as a drainage layer cover that with weed blick and then add your substrate.
Did you seel that viv? it looks like wood from here _________________ Paul
