Hey, does anyone know if cresties can be housed with other geckos with similar requirements?
Or will they fight?
I have seen them with gargoyles and flying's but was not sure if it was temporary? _________________ 95% of the time people will beleive you if you give tham a statistic! |

I'm not saying it can't be done, but I would personally keep the viv 'pure'
even though I would love a community viv, it takes a lot of care.
Vosjoli? says that you can house them with a type of skink (can anyone enlighten me) but i'm not sure.

De Vosjoli (Rhac book) does say you can house them with Pink Tongued skinks. I haven't tried it so I don't know how well it works. I personally would keep only Cresteds in the viv. Gargoyles can be aggressive - tail biting for expample. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie

as others have said, Yes it can be done but I would highly recommend you get some 'crested' experiance first, then as your confidence and experiance grows you can start to research multi-species vivs.
Buy this book
It will give you some pointers about multi-species vivs plus great info on all Rhaco's _________________

Okay, cool thanks guys!
It was just out of interest really, 'coz i've seen it done in zoos etc. but wasn't sure if they were safe! _________________ 95% of the time people will beleive you if you give tham a statistic! |
