my g/friend wants to make a background for our beardies and we cant find where to buy the big long polystyrene blocks / sheets from..

found some balls on ebay but there not really ideal

any ideas?

Though not ideal polyboxes are a good source as pet shops give these away for nothing, they would only have to pay for them to be disposed of otherwise. Cut them down and use a peice of hardboard and you can then make it as long as you need it to be.

I've almost finished a large background for an Applegate phase San Diego Gopher Snake. I'll post some pictures of the background soon.

I bought a hot wire cutter aswell from ebay, they are fab BUT the one I bought needs a 4.5v battery which is no longer in production. Rolling Eyes

So had to modify it a bit to take 3 AA....just so you know in case it's the same Very Happy
