You might have seen these pics before but one of Jo's posts got me looking through my pics at the difference between day and night colours (or not fired up and fired up). Here's Corey in the day and then at night.

Nice pics :], it is great seeing the day/night differences. Some nights my cresteds really suprise me when they really go for it

Nope doesn't look like it does it, never noticed that before. I think it's amazing how they can look so different by night.

The spots on my first crested get darker and more pronounced wen she fires up

Great examples between day/night colours must try and get some of mine, quite hard as he likes to play hide and seek Rolling Eyes
