at the shop were i purchased my trinket snake, he said he had fed the day before i bought him which i believe as he is a trustable shop owner who i am friends with. however i tried him on a pinkie in many different ways, i tried feeding him with tweezers, and then again with my fingers, i tried leaving him in a box with the mouse for about 20 mins and he didnt do anything. i then tried holding him and enticinghim by pushing the mouse againts his nose, then i removed its leg and made it bleed to make it smell more. i am now leaving it in his box overnight.

can anyone help?

first off, don't worry just yet. give him a couple of days before trying again.
if you can, next time round defrost an adult mouse ahead of defrosting the pink. then using tweezers or tongs pick up the pinkie and rub it all over the mouse, this will scent the pinkie. then try him with this, just leave it close to him without disturbing him.

just remember that snakes can go a fair while without feeding, also you haven't had him long so you wont really of established a pattern for feeding yet?! he may not be hungry!!

My trinks will not feed in front of me, I just leave it in there, and leave.
As said it's early days yet, just make sure there are plenty of hides and it feels secure.

It's only been about a week so as said not to worry yet.

As with peaches my baby snake won't feed with me in the room though mine is a corn, the others do, but with the new one I put the food in and go away. It's always gone by the morning. It was the same with the others when they were first bought except for the kingsnake.
