Well female leo has been laying for the first time recently, I got two hatched so far which is cooool.
So after laying 6 eggs she stopped, but looked rather fat 3 weeks after the last lay. I checked her belly and it looked a bit red and inflamed
Oh s*it I thought, egg bound.... However I sat her in a bowl of warm water high enough to cover her belly and fed her an entire syringe of
calcium water, she laid the eggs that night and ate three locusts to boot!
I'd read somewhere that they need calcium to help the muscles involved with egg laying contract smoothly. Rather glad I did _________________ Kind Regards,
