Thought you might be interested in seeing a photo of Jareth (wee-eye) I am presuming you know the story of his bad eye, any way this is over a year on, he was bred by Lauren in Oct 2004. If you don't know I will let you know the story. And another, you can see both eyes in this one.

We got 2 gargoyles with wierd eyes, they were from different clutches and unrelated. In Jareths case her clutch mate was normal, the other was a single egg laid, the only thing that linked them was they were incubated at the same time, but as I said different parents, the temps did go up to 90 deg, but that was only a couple of days before they hatched so wouldn't have thought that would make any difference as surely the eyes would already have been formed at that stage. The other one had a funny pupil, hence the name Bowie.

strange, I did hatch out a leopard gecko with one eye that is tiny (10 times smaller than the normal eye).

I was thinking temp, I have seen it in the past with lots of snakes, I had an incubator fail on me and had about 5 - 6 clutches of snakes all hatch (or dead in shell) with tiny eyes, kinked spines and all manner of defects.

I'll try and take a photo of the leo.

She's coming on well Julie, despite the slow start. Very Happy
