fair dos, but when putting 'straight edges' against other 'straight edges' the tiniest variance can make a really annoying gap. I jus get a metal rule, 2 clamps and run the jig along it, no worries!! or even ask the people where you get the wood from to cut it! the do like the first few cuts for free then charge something silly like 80p. _________________ [3.2.6 R.Ciliatus|1.4.7 R.Auriculatus

A nice step by step guide, just the bloke is in the US so the shops mentioned won't be in the UK. For the Contiboard/melamine use B&Q the one in the fort trading estate in Cheetham Hill is okay, they'll even cut it to size for you. Glass is best used for the doors and for that it would be best to go a local glazier, as then you can have it done to order, it won't be the cheapest option but they will grind down the edges for you so that there are no sharp ones. |

That can work, but you will get a far better cut with a hand saw, and straighter. _________________ Custom made vivs to your requirements. Pm me or email to qualityvivs@hotmail.co.uk |
